Instructions
Select each individual neighboring parcel for which you want advanced notification by either adding from the map or manually typing the address. First, enter your home address in the search form displayed on the map. Click the search button and the map will zoom to the most likely address. For instructions on using the map click on the Map’s I Want To button then view the home panel.
Enter properties one at a time. Not all addresses for some parcels will display on the map, e.g. an apartment complex with multiple buildings or a duplex. Manually enter each address in these situations.
Add Parcels from Map
- On the map, click on a property you want to add to the registry and the address will display.
- Click the “Add Parcel from Map” button located below the map.
- A form will appear with the property’s address auto-populated. Make corrections if necessary.
- Click the “Save” button to add the address to the registry. The address will display in the list located below the map.
- To add additional addresses, repeat these steps.
- After entering all of your addresses, click the “Submit” button at the bottom of the page.
Add Parcels Manually
- On the map, click on a property you want to add to the registry and the address will display.
- Click the “Add Parcel Manually” button located at the bottom of the map.
- Type the physical address of the property that is displayed on the map into the “Address Line 1” box in the form.
- Enter the zip code into the “Zip/Postal Code” box on the form. Click in the “City” box on the form. The city, state and county boxes should auto-populate based on the zip code that you entered. If these boxes do not auto-populate, you need to manually enter them.
- Click the “Save” button to add the address to the registry. The address will display in the list located below the map.
- To add additional addresses, repeat these steps.
- After entering all of the addresses, click the “Submit” button at the bottom of the page.
To RENEW properties for this year’s registry, simply leave the Property as is in the Parcels list.
If you no longer wish to receive notice for a registered property, click the Remove link in the Actions column of the Parcels list.
New properties must be registered by either adding from the map or manually typing the address.
You will receive an email confirming your registration after clicking the “Submit” button.
Hint: A US Postal Service (USPS) database validates each address. The preferred city is based on the zip code, e.g. 53217 defaults to Milwaukee yet is also valid for Whitefish Bay and several other municipalities.

The parcel boundaries displayed on the map do not represent the legal ownership boundaries of any property. Parcel information was obtained from Wisconsin counties and cities in 2017 and thus may not be the most current, comprehensive data available.
