Are you looking to obtain or re-apply for a Dairy Plant License? You are in the right place!
To apply for a
new Dairy Plant License, first you must contact our Licensing staff at 608-224-4923 to obtain a New Dairy Plant License Questionnaire and Plan Review Information for new facility construction or remodeling. Once you complete that step, you are ready to start the Dairy Plant License application process by clicking “Start New Application”. If you are applying for a new Dairy Plant License and will be buying milk from producers, you will are also required to hold a Milk Contractors License.
If you currently hold a Dairy Plant License and need to
renew the license, you should click “Re-apply for Existing License”. This online renewal option will be available beginning mid-March each year.
Dairy Plant Licenses expire April 30th each year. The license is not transferable and license fees are not refundable.
A list of licensed dairy plants is available by clicking “Registries/Lists”. Within the Food and Recreational Safety section, select Dairy Plant License Holders. You can export this list to Excel.
