You need a current annual license for each commercial vehicle scale (VS) that you operate. A commercial vehicle scale has a weighing capacity of 5,000 pounds or more and is used for the commercial weighing of commodities or livestock. The license fee is $115. The vehicle scale license expires on March 31st and a
separate license is required for each scale. Licenses cannot be prorated or transferred between operators or scales. If you currently hold a vehicle scale operator license and need to re-apply, click "Re-apply for Existing License".
