This is the online application for the 2021 Wisconsin Hemp Processor Program. To apply online, click the "Start New Application" button below.
PLEASE NOTE: You MUST register for a MyDATCP online account at the end of the process to ensure that you can edit or view your information later. You will be presented with your invoice and payment options following registration.
This initial application will cover a new, one-time Hemp Processor License and, if you indicate that you will process hemp from January 1, 2021 to December 31, 2021, it will also include the 2021 Annual Registration of your Hemp Processor License. In order to process hemp in Wisconsin, you need both the one-time Processor License and the Annual Registration for each year in which you plan to process hemp.
There is an inherent risk associated with participation in this Pilot Research Program. There is no guarantee that each lot of hemp will pass the regulatory THC test.
If you are renewing your annual registration for the 2021 License Year, please note that the end of the 2021 license year is currently scheduled for December 31, 2021 and that any changes made to an issued license will result in additional fees.

Instructions for submitting your Background Check Consent form and directions to have your fingerprints taken for that background check will be sent to the first-time applicant upon receipt of application. Maps will be submitted later in the growing season with your planting report. Additional terms and conditions for the Grower License are specified in the research agreement, and you will have the opportunity to electronically sign the research agreement at the end of this application process.
