Farm-Raised Deer Keeper Registration
Wisconsin Statutes and DATCP Rules require that any person engaging in the business of keeping farm-raised deer must have an annual farm-raised deer keeper registration from the department.
An annual farm-raised deer keeper registration (more than 15 farm-raised deer) expires on March 15 and is not refundable. The annual fee is $325.
The farm-raised deer registration may be obtained by submitting a completed application and appropriate fee to DATCP.
If your herd contains white-tailed deer you MUST submit a DNR Fencing Certificate, for each location white-tailed deer are present, with your application for it to be considered complete.
