The Pesticide Certification and Licensing Program is frequently reevaluating certification standards in other states in order to determine if different certifications can be reciprocated. Even if you have been reciprocated before, please visit
this website, in order to view what certifications are required in other states in order to be reciprocated in Wisconsin this licensing cycle. If this information is not provided for your state or you are still unsure if you can be reciprocated, please contact the Pesticide Certification and Licensing Program before applying for a Reciprocal Individual Commercial Applicator’s License.
LICENSE FEES ARE NON-TRANSFERABLE AND NON-REFUNDABLE!
For-hire applicators are owners or employees who apply pesticides for pesticide application businesses.
New Applicants: If this is your first time applying for a pesticide applicator For-Hire license, please start the process by clicking “Start New License”. This will walk you through the licensing process step-by-step. Please note, due to renewals the “Start New License” button will be disabled from October 15th until March 1st of each year. When the “Start New License” button is disabled, new applicators will need to apply via the paper application which can be found
here.
To Renew a License: To renew an existing license, select the “Log in / Register” button in the upper right corner. Log in to your existing account or create a new one with a PIN number provided by DATCP. If you have an existing license, but do not have a PIN, please contact us at
datcppesticideinfo@wisconsin.gov and a PIN will be generated for you.
