The following requirements must be met in order to conduct a tank system tightness testing specified in ATCP 93:
- Tank System Tightness Testers must hold a certification issued by DATCP.
- Tank System Tightness Testers and their employers must have no personal or monetary interest in the facility.
A person who conducts tightness tests for tank systems as a certified tank system tightness tester must do all of the following:
- Conduct tightness tests in accordance with the material approval under ATCP 93 and any additional manufacturer's instructions.
- Employ only those test methodologies for which training has been obtain
